My question today, is something on the lines of freedom. It is about a protest song.

After seeing the newspaper headline [ similar to the one shown in pic1], about the racist in pic2, killing the lady in pic3, our hero was inspired to create a song, which featured in his new album back then.

Though the era in which this song held context has long since passed, the song continues to be a regular fixture in our hero’s setlist even till today.

Name the song, and our hero as well. [ and full fundae for extra-smugness points]
