And back to Quizzing now. The connect is the rock band “The Doors”, whose took their name from the title of The Doors of Perception (1954), by Aldous Huxley, who in turn took it’s title from a line in “The Marriage of Heaven and Hell” by William Blake. Their song, The End, was featured prominently on the soundtrack of “Apocalypse Now”

  2. Aldous Huxley wrote a book called “The Doors of Perception” from a passage in William Blake’s “The marriage of Heaven and Hell”.

Morrison named his band after Aldous Huxley’s work.

    The Doors, perhaps.
“… Doors of Perception …” from Marriage of Heaven and Hell is where the title of Aldous Huxley’s “Doors of Perception” took it’s title from. And Huxley’s book is where The Doors took their name.
Apocalypse Now featured one version of the Doors “The End”
